Acne monster

I went to the Dr today, just for the regular monthy prenatal check up. Heard the heartbeat. Trust me, it's quite the sound. Everything is going great and I haven't gained any weight since my last appointment. Although I don't see how that's possible the way I'm eating. Yesterday I had THREE donuts. Yup, that's right...THREE! Here's some info incase anyone is interested. Just skip it if you're not. No biggie.

Get ready for a growth spurt! In the next few weeks your baby will double her weight and add inches to her length. You're going through a bit of a growth spurt yourself. You're probably looking and feeling a whole lot better as you adapt to pregnancy. Less nausea, fewer mood swings, and "glowing" skin contribute to an overall sense of well-being.
How your baby's growing: At 4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, your baby is about the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, though, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. Her lower limbs are much more developed now. Her head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved toward the front of her head. Your baby's ears are close to their final position, too. Some of her more advanced body systems are working, including her circulatory system and urinary tract. Her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, circulating her total blood volume through her body many times. (By the end of your pregnancy, this will increase to about 190 quarts.) The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her hair isn't recognizable yet. Although closed, her eyes are moving (slowly), and she's even started growing toenails.
"Glowing" skin...ya right! My skin is a nightmare right now. I look like some kind of swamp creature. And i'm pretty sure I made some child cry because this kid pointed and screamed at me and then started to wail.I went to the store today to get a few things. It was so busy. I could hardly find a parking space anywhere, so I had to improvise. This guy was all mad and whining about his paint job...blah blah blah...whatever buddy.
